France Visa Requirements for Indians
Many people from around the world want to visit France for various purposes. The country also attracts a lot of business people. Indians who wish to visit France for tourism or trade purposes can easily avail a France Visa online in India. India is one of the many countries for which France Visa is available.
France Visa required Documents for Indians Tourist / Friend/Family Visa :-
The Travel Visa C or Schengen Visa C, is a short-term visa which allows its holder to reside in a Schengen Area for a certain period of time depending on the visa validity. Schengen Visa allows the holders to remain for a maximum of 90 days, within a 180 day period, in the Schengen Area.
- Passport valid for at least three months from date of return to India. With 2 blank pages. Old passport if any
- 2 New Photos Taken within the last three months, unused photos in any previous visa.
- Travel Insurance with a minimum 30,000 € coverage of medical emergencies.
- Hotel reservations, or similar proof of accommodation for entire duration of stay in Schengen
- Internal Travel booking.
- Air tickets.
- Itinerary specifying entry and exit dates.
- Covering letter mentioning details of application, purpose of visit, travel details, who will bear expenses, and profession details. (If self-employed require on company letterhead).
- If Self Employed: Company registration proof/ Shop Act/ Partnership deed/MOA.
- If Employed: Salary slips for last 3-months + Leave approval letter + Salary account statements for last 3 months showing salary credited.
- If Freelancer: Contract copy / Invoices / Visiting Card.
- If Agriculturist: 7/12 translated in English
- If Student: School/College ID Card / Bonafide Letter + Leave approval
- If Retired: Retirement proof / Pension Order/Pension Slips
- Adhaar / Pan card copy
- ITR: Income Tax Acknowledgement / ITR-V from the last three (3) years
- Original personal bank statements for last 3 months with bank seal & sign.
- Covid Vaccination certificates both doses with Passport number, Date of Birth & name as per passport updated.
- Minor travelers: a minor accompanied by one parent shall provide an Original notarized NOC by the other parent, plus copies of parents passports or ID · a minor travelling alone shall provide an Original notarized NOC by both parents / legal guardians, plus copies of parents passports or ID. This document needs to be apostilled.
Documents From France (French or a foreign resident) :
- Original Invitation letter from France.
- Original Attestation d’accueil (proof of accommodation)
- Passport copy
- Copy of the id card or residence permit, mentioning the right to reside in France.
- Proof of recent income if sponsoring: (3 last salary slip + Bank statements 3 months, last income tax assessment paper.
Business Visa
A Business Visa is given those who are doing business in France such as making sales or establishing contacts on behalf of a company outside India
- Passport valid for at least three months from date of return to India. With 2 blank pages. Old passport if any
- 2 New Photos Taken within the last three months, unused photos in any previous visa.
- Travel Insurance with a minimum 30,000 € coverage of medical emergencies.
- Hotel reservations, or similar proof of accommodation for entire duration of stay in Schengen
- Air tickets.
- Confirmation letter of the company in India explaining the purpose and duration of the journey and the guarantee to cover all costs that may arise during the stay in France.
- The request letter, the summons or the invitation from your correspondent in France accurately describing the activity, the purpose, the duration and the location of the meeting, seminar or conference; Admission cards to trade fairs or conferences; A commitment by the inviting organization or company to cover all the visitor’s costs during his/her stay.
- If Self Employed: Company registration proof/ Shop Act/ Partnership deed/MOA.
