Russia Visa required Documents for Indians 

Russia Tourist

1. Original passport containing at least 2 blank pages for visas, valid for a period of 6 months after the visa expires (+ a good quality copy of the page with photo and address page – both on one side of an A4 sheet).
2. 2color photograph 3.5 x 4.5 cm with light-coloured background, clear image of the applicant directly facing the camera, without dark/ tinted glasses or any headgear (with the exception of persons who wear such headgear due to their ethnic/ religious background, and are seen wearing the same in their passport photo).
3. If travel is more than 14 day’s then day to day itinerary is required.
4. Covering letter mentioning details of travel. (If self-employed on company letterhead).
5. Tourist confirmation letter (a copy can be submitted) issued by a Russian tour operator (registered in the Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators under a unique reference number). It should contain all the passport details of the tourist (full name, date of birth, sex, citizenship and passport number), duration of stay (date of entry and exit), number of entries granted by the visa, full contact details of the Russian tour operator, its reference number (“MBT”), list of the cities to be visited, accommodation details, signature of the head of the tour agency, the organization’s official seal.
6. Visiting card

Russia Business

4. Covering letter from Indian company mentioning details of travel and who will bear expenses. With sign & stamp.    
5. Original invitation which can be obtained by the host organization or business partner through the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation or of its regional offices or from the regional Passport-Visa office of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Russian Federation.
6. The HIV test certificate. (Only for Multiple Entry Visas).
7. Visiting card

Russia Friend/Family Visa:

1. Original passport containing at least 2 blank pages for visas, valid for a period of 6 months after the visa expires (+ a good quality copy of the page with photo and address page – both on one side of an A4 sheet).
2. 2color photograph 3.5 x 4.5 cm with light-coloured background, clear image of the applicant directly facing the camera, without dark/ tinted glasses or any headgear (with the exception of persons who wear such headgear due to their ethnic/ religious background, and are seen wearing the same in their passport photo).
3. If travel is more than 14 day’s then day to day itinerary is required.
4. Original invitation which your relatives or friends in Russia should obtain for you from the regional office of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Russian Federation. The period of stay in Russia is mentioned in the invitation and must not exceed 90 days
5. Passport copy of Inviting person.
6. Visa copy if Not a Russian citizen.
