Austria Visa Requirements for Indians

Austria Visa required Documents for Indians Tourist / Friend/Family Visa:-
The Travel Visa C or Schengen Visa C, is a short-term visa which allows its holder to reside in a Schengen Area for a certain period of time depending on the visa validity. Schengen Visa allows the holders to remain for a maximum of 90 days, within a 180 day period, in the Schengen Area.
- Passport valid for at least three months from date of return to India. With 2 blank pages. Old passport if any
- 2 New Photos Taken within the last three months, unused photos in any previous visa.
- Travel Insurance with a minimum 30,000 € coverage of medical emergencies.
- Hotel reservations, or similar proof of accommodation for entire duration of stay in Schengen
- Internal Travel booking.
- Air tickets.
- Itinerary specifying entry and exit dates.
- Covering letter mentioning details of application, purpose of visit, travel details, who will bear expenses, and profession details. (If self-employed require on company letterhead).
- If Self Employed: Company registration proof/ Shop Act/ Partnership deed/MOA.
- If Employed: Salary slips for last 3-months + Leave approval letter + Salary account statements for last 3 months showing salary credited.
- If Freelancer: Contract copy / Invoices / Visiting Card.
- If Agriculturist: 7/12 translated in English
- If Student: School/College ID Card / Bonafide Letter + Leave approval
- If Retired: Retirement proof / Pension Order/Pension Slips
- Adhaar / Pan card copy
- ITR: Income Tax Acknowledgement / ITR-V from the last three (3) years
- Original personal bank statements for last 3 months with bank seal & sign.
- Covid Vaccination certificates both doses with Passport number, Date of Birth & name as per passport updated.
- Minor travelers: a minor accompanied by one parent shall provide an Original notarized NOC by the other parent, plus copies of parents passports or ID · a minor travelling alone shall provide an Original notarized NOC by both parents / legal guardians, plus copies of parents passports or ID.

- Invitation letter signed
- Address proof of stay.
- Relationship proof document with Inviting person.
- Electronic letter of guarantee of sponsor – “EVE – Elektronische Verpflichtungserklärung” http://www.bmi.gv.at/cms/BMI_Fremdenpolizei/einreise_visa/Visum_6.aspx obtained by the sponsor at the competent „Fremdenpolizeibehörde“ of the sponsor’s district in Austria
Business Visa:
A Business Visa is given those who are doing business in Austria such as making sales or establishing contacts on behalf of a company outside India
- Passport valid for at least three months from date of return to India. With 2 blank pages. Old passport if any
- 2 New Photos Taken within the last three months, unused photos in any previous visa.
- Travel Insurance with a minimum 30,000 € coverage of medical emergencies.
- Hotel reservations, or similar proof of accommodation for entire duration of stay in Schengen
- Internal Travel booking.
- Air tickets.
- Itinerary specifying entry and exit dates.
- Cover letter explaining the purpose of the trip and business relation with the Austrian business partner (letter must confirm identity of applicant, place and period of intended stay)on Company letterhead.
- Invitation letter from the Austrian company / Business Operation
- In case the purpose of travel is other than business meetings (training, voluntary work or project work etc.): Permission by the Austrian Labor Market Authority “AMS”(Entsendebewilligung, Anzeigebestätigung) to be obtained by the inviting Austrian company.
- If applicable – Electronic letter of guarantee – “EVE” or “GVE” – Elektronische Verpflichtungserklärung” or Generalverpflichtungserklärung http://www.bmi.gv.at/cms/BMI_Fremdenpolizei/einreise_visa/Visum_6.aspx (to be obtained from the Austrian business with the competent „Fremdenpolizeibehörde“ at the appropriate regional office in Austria (if applicable) or in case of GVE at the Austrian Ministry of Interior
- If Self Employed: Company registration proof/ Shop Act/ Partnership deed/MOA.
- If Employed: Salary slips for last 3-months + Salary account statements for last 3 months showing salary credited.
- If Freelancer: Contract copy / Invoices / Visiting Card.
